Review: The Four Fountains Spa

I had an opportunity to visit "The Four Fountains Spa" recently. They have branches at Powai,Bandra,Malad & "Spa on The wheels" .I visited the Powai branch, since its nearest to my place. The entrance room is decorated with scented candles, which itself gives you  a very calm & soothing effect upon arrival . I was explained the various massages & treatment they offer & since I had become very tan in the last few months due to constant travelling, I chose to go for "Lightening Facial".

A little brief about this facial: Lightening Facial

Facials use a series of steps to gently exfoliate the skin on your face and massage it to give a glow. These steps are cleansing, toning, massaging, scrubbing, steaming, application of mask and finally moisturising. Lightening Facial contains the goodness of mulberry and saffron which are highly regarded for their skin lightening properties. Mulberry contains antioxidants and arbutin which prevents skin from darkening. Saffron is a popular traditional remedy for skin lightening.

I was greeted by this sweet Masseuse,I forgot her name :P ,she took me to the massage room, where I was given disposable clothes.Although the spa is unisex, their policy is to offer same gender therapists only, which is a great thing! The best thing about the masseuse was that she kept on checking with me every 10-15mins whether the music was ok, AC's flow was fine,if the pressure applied was ok.

The facial lasted for 1hour,and I left the place feeling & looking more radiant.Overall it was a very soothing ,relaxing and calm experience.

What I loved about this spa:

  • Ambience
  • Affordable price
  • The Masseuse seemed very well trained
  • The fact that she did patch test behind my ears before using any products on my face first.
  • Wide Range of options to choose from: they have therapies for De-stressing, De-toxification, Immunity,Beauty. They also  have special packages for Bride & Groom :)
  • The products used on me smelled very good, also loved the fact that they used nature based products.

The only thing I think they could improve on was the music,it sounded weird, not at all suiting the spa environment.

The Four Fountains Spa has packages starting from just Rs.600 onwards, which makes it the most affordable spa around!

They are also offering special offers & discounts for memberships,& weekday discounts!! Ain't that awesome :)

Since I felt uncomfortable clicking photos once inside the spa, I will share some photos from their website.Take a look:
