Shower your skin with care this monsoon!!

Hey gals, today I'll be reviewing  Kaya Skin Clinic's Hydra Surge 3600 range. I have used these products for over 2 weeks, and I must say I am absolutely in love with these.

Here's a brief introduction about this range:

Kaya Skin Clinic’s Hydra Surge 3600 range is specially formulated to give your skin the hydrating care it needs  to fight away the dryness and sensitivity. The products replenish your NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor) and restore your skin’s natural moisture balance, while providing it with soothing, anti-irritant care. This special skincare range combines the best of moisturizing ingredients with the skin-soothing extract of White Lily, which is grown organically in Switzerland and is known for its anti-inflammatory property that is suited for sensitive skin.

The Hydra Surge 3600 range comprises of : Balancing Cleansing Gel and Rebalancing Mist.

 Balancing Cleansing Gel

Balancing Cleansing Gel is an instantly refreshing mild cleanser which effectively cleanses dry and sensitive skin. The ingredients mentioned are White Lily, Vitamin B5 and Phospholipid, which is supposed to maintain the skins moisture and nourish it.

It comes in a handy container, with a dispensing pump, which makes it easier to use.Its in a clear gel form. One wash, and  you already notice a difference on your face. One of the best cleansers I'v come across I would say.Made my skin clean, refreshed and soft. It also removed my waterproof mascara & kajal!

Price: Rs.450 for 100ml
I would rate it 4.5/5

Rebalancing Mist

Rebalancing Mist is a  non-alcoholic toner. The ingredients mentioned are White Lily, Cucumber and  Witch Hazel.

The mist also comes in a handy bottle with dispensing pump, you can directly spray it on your face or you can pump it into your palm and apply on your face.
I prefer spraying directly on my face. You feel instantly refreshed :) The best thing about it is that its non-alcoholic, you might be aware that alcohol makes your skin dry. The rebalancing mist is of my must haves now! I just spray few spritz on my face, and my skin feels so fresh!

Price: Rs.450 for 100ml
I would rate it 4/5

I have been using these two products for sometime now,I would totally recommend to you gals.Do try them & let me know your reviews :)

The Lil' Blue Dress

In the previous post (Here) I  introduced a new shopping site LimeRoad.com. Today's outfit is featuring The Blue Dress from Limeroad.com.

This is a very casual dress with side pockets, perfect for a day out with your friends, shopping or a lunch date! The interesting neckline and side pockets is what made me fall in love with this dress! The smocked waist perfectly accentuates your curves ! I like how I can wear it for day time or a night out.You can checkout similar amazing dresses from Limeroad HERE

Accessories can make or break any outfit. You could see how adding a belt & a denim jacket changed the outfit completely! I added a gold metal belt (from Kazo),matched it with gold collar necklace & a golden watch, which changed the look of the dress completely.

In the second look, I just put on a denim jacket. A denim jacket is another must haves in your wardrobe.

Review: The Four Fountains Spa

I had an opportunity to visit "The Four Fountains Spa" recently. They have branches at Powai,Bandra,Malad & "Spa on The wheels" .I visited the Powai branch, since its nearest to my place. The entrance room is decorated with scented candles, which itself gives you  a very calm & soothing effect upon arrival . I was explained the various massages & treatment they offer & since I had become very tan in the last few months due to constant travelling, I chose to go for "Lightening Facial".

A little brief about this facial: Lightening Facial

Facials use a series of steps to gently exfoliate the skin on your face and massage it to give a glow. These steps are cleansing, toning, massaging, scrubbing, steaming, application of mask and finally moisturising. Lightening Facial contains the goodness of mulberry and saffron which are highly regarded for their skin lightening properties. Mulberry contains antioxidants and arbutin which prevents skin from darkening. Saffron is a popular traditional remedy for skin lightening.

I was greeted by this sweet Masseuse,I forgot her name :P ,she took me to the massage room, where I was given disposable clothes.Although the spa is unisex, their policy is to offer same gender therapists only, which is a great thing! The best thing about the masseuse was that she kept on checking with me every 10-15mins whether the music was ok, AC's flow was fine,if the pressure applied was ok.

The facial lasted for 1hour,and I left the place feeling & looking more radiant.Overall it was a very soothing ,relaxing and calm experience.

What I loved about this spa:

  • Ambience
  • Affordable price
  • The Masseuse seemed very well trained
  • The fact that she did patch test behind my ears before using any products on my face first.
  • Wide Range of options to choose from: they have therapies for De-stressing, De-toxification, Immunity,Beauty. They also  have special packages for Bride & Groom :)
  • The products used on me smelled very good, also loved the fact that they used nature based products.

The only thing I think they could improve on was the music,it sounded weird, not at all suiting the spa environment.

The Four Fountains Spa has packages starting from just Rs.600 onwards, which makes it the most affordable spa around!

They are also offering special offers & discounts for memberships,& weekday discounts!! Ain't that awesome :)

Since I felt uncomfortable clicking photos once inside the spa, I will share some photos from their website.Take a look:

Reception Area

Reception Area- Don't you just love the place already!!

The massage bed is ready :)

Relax on this chair for a session of foot-massage

Have a look at their website to go through the wide variety of packages they offer, also you can check prices here and book an appointment online.
